Moroccan Green Rice

 

INGREDIENTS

 

 

2 Tbsp      Olive or Grapeseed Oil

2 Cups      Jasmine Rice (Cooked)

1/4 Cup     Water

2 tsp          Ras Al Hanout 

1/2 Stick   Butter

2 Cloves   Garlic (Minced)

2 tsp         Chicken Base

1/2 Cup    Spinach (Rough Chopped)

1/4 Cup    White Onion (Chopped)

1/2 Cup    Broccoli Florets (Rough Chopped)

1/2 tsp      Fresh Lemon Juice

1 Tbsp      Local Honey

Directions

  • ​

  • Heat 2 tbsp Olive or Grapeseed Oil on Medium High in a Large Skillet

  • Saute' Broccoli and Onion until cooked through

  • Add Garlic and Rice

  • With a fork, fluff rice while heating on Medium heat

  • Next make a well or space in the center of the skillet and add water, lemon juice, chicken base, butter, honey and Ras Al Hanout

  • Stir in middle of pan and use fork to incorporate into rice

  • Add spinach and incorporate into rice until lightly wilted 

  • Remove from heat and cover

Serve Immediately
