Teriyaki Tuna Pasta Salad
Ingredients

Dressing

4 Tbsp Hellman's Mayonnaise

1 Tbsp Brown or Honey Mustard

1 Whole Avocado (Cubed)

1 Tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce
Directions

In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients and use a potato masher to mash avocado until well mixed

Complete the dressing by whisking

all ingredients until well well blended

Set Aside

Pasta and Vegetables
-

2 Cups Rotini (Cooked)
-
1/2 Cucumber (Diced)
-
1/2 Red Bell Pepper (Diced)
-
1/2 White or Yellow Onion (Diced)
-
1/2 Cup Broccoli (Lightly Blanched or Steamed)

3 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
-
1 Inch Peg Ginger (Minced)

Directions

Heat Olive Oil on Medium Hi in a Medium Sauce Pan
-
Add all ingredients except pasta to heated sauce pan
-
Turn heat to medium and cook for 2 minutes

Set Aside
Tuna Steaks

3 Whole Tuna Steaks
-
2 Tbsp MK2 Seasoning or Favorite All Purpose Blend
-
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
-
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
-
2 Tbsp Plum Sauce
-
1 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
-
1 Tbsp Fish Sauce
-
1/4 Cup White Wine

Directions

Combine and whisk together soy sauce, plum sauce, hoisin sauce and fish sauce. Set aside
-
In a Medium Sauce Pan, heat olive oil on Medium Hi until it begins to smoke slightly
-
Next, gently add seasoned tuna steaks to sauce pan
-
Cook on both sides for 2 1/2 minutes or until golden brown. During this time, toss pasta, dressing and vegetables in a bowl.

After both sides of tuna steak are browned, add white wine to sauce pan and deglaze on medium heat for one minute.

Add soy sauce mixture to sauce pan and simmer on medium low, basting occasionally, for 3 minutes.

Remove from heat and serve atop finished pasta salad
